Kurt thought they were insufferable as friends, but this is so much worse :/
He tried to convince them to make up, mostly sincerely because he knows they have a hard time making friends. But.... also a little because he was exasperated with the impact on the team.

We've talked about this but Manuel has a front seat to all of Kurt's extreme enthusiasm and also all of his existential emotional struggles :) The volume on him is always turned up to 11 and Kurt hates that he can't hide his negative feelings from Manny

Yessss. ♥ Their dynamic is such an interesting mess and Manuel is often exasperated with just how much Kurt feels while acting like everything's good. A leading contributor to migraines when he was younger. But he is fond of Kurt, particularly when he's being genuinely fun~ or when Manny can nudge him toward a little mischief. Oh, to be the devil on a "devil"'s shoulder. ALSO: Mass buddy! They're both such good Catholic boys, after all. 😌
The faces Manuel makes when Kurt and Emma are flirting somewhere nearby and he just picks up on it. (He doesn't actually care much, but may toss light jabs at them both about it when the opportunity arises.)
I think Kitty would actually like him a lot though possibly pretends she does not when it so fits. Adores making her brain intangible in his presence. Some would argue she should have a tangible brain more frequently. She was actually really smad when he left/wouldn't go public. Did a punch and hug on return kinda situation. (Typical)

BUT I love this and I think the feeling/interaction style is mutual. Manuel likes Kitty and is very impressed by her (the lil' team savant that has mastered things he doesn't understand at all!), but he's certainly not above giving her a bit of shit. He is unsettled by her ability to negate his powers and unironically complained about her phasing through his door (respect his privacy), but doesn't have any actual issues with her.
SORRY, KITTY. He just wasn't ready and still isn't convinced it was a good idea for any of you guys...
Kitty could tell that Manuel was in a bad place after Genosha because he big returned that hug. 🙃 But he would've been glad to see her regardless.
