Manny isn't unaccustomed to people feeling one way but projecting another and he won't typically call Jean out on it, but he definitely takes notice and they both know that he knows. For better or worse. Also please stop feeling so hard, you're killing him. :))) This impacted him more when they were younger and he wasn't as experienced, so he mostly just expects/accepts this for her now. But still! Jean, get it together...
That's sweet, though. :') And so so ominous from Manny's perspective despite knowing that it's coming from a good place.
SORRY, JEAN. Depending on whether or not he remembers sharing any part of the experience/the aftermath with her, this is probably the one part of letting Emma alter his memory that he feels somewhat conflicted about. He trusts himself enough to think he did what he needed to do, but that doesn't mean he likes that he's left Jean in a bit of a lurch. If he doesn't remember any of that at all, well... Jean, what's your deal rn?? Either way, a fun little mess to play with!
