Emma is technically off being a boss babe during this BUT she would have at least come back for a little bit to help investigate/try to get him back, because Kurt!!! Even when she's off running around she's keeping in contact with everyone and will probably have an uptick in that during this whole mess :c

Once Kurt's back if he needs a little vacation he can go hang out with her on a resort somewhere.

Kurt might end up sleeping on her couch* for a month or so after he catches heat and needs a break.

*I'm sure she had better accommodations but that was his instinct.
